Fall: What's in Season?

The farmers' markets are winding down, but the produce is not.  Many spring favorites are back, while some fall goodies make their first appearance.

Arugula
Asian Greens (think baby bok choy and the like)
Beans, Green & Wax
Beets
Cilantro
Collard Greens
Cucumbers
Eggplant
Garlic
Ginger Root
Mint
Onions (red, white, yellow)
Pears
Peas (purple hull)
Peppers (hot or sweet)
Potatoes
Pumpkins (yeah!)
Spinach
Squash, Summer (zucchini, yellow)
Sweet Potatoes
Swiss Chard
Tomatoes (winding down, but still present)
Turnips
Turnip Greens
Winter Squash (butternut, acorn, etc.)
