Speaking of having insane amounts of food in the kitchen, I am the same way. I picked up the habit from my mother b/c we lived a half hour drive from the nearest grocery store. In order to save time and gas she would always buy a week's worth of food at once. For a while I was thinking maybe this was not such a good habit that I acquired since most people in foreign countries tend to shop for their food daily. However, recently I read an article that stated that people who shop for a week's worth of groceries spend less money on food than those that purchase food daily at the store. So, maybe it is a good thing that we keep our pantries and freezers and refrigerators stocked.Life with my Aspiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01737168366445086130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6794167391145615164.post-19147398861721741702011-03-10T12:32:31.233-06:002011-03-10T12:32:31.233-06:00Oh, honey, you GOTTA try it! I was actually just sitting here fretting that I now only have one roll left in the pantry (yeah, I must have lived through the Great Depression in a previous life or something, because I have horrible issues with needing insane amounts of food in the kitchen in order to be able to relax about it. Really...just ask Angela!Terri & Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16021653063998748923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6794167391145615164.post-28495334101051966612011-03-10T12:24:20.860-06:002011-03-10T12:24:20.860-06:00You are the only person I know who has used polent...You are the only person I know who has used polenta.
